Prop 414 would raise Tucson’s already high sales tax by another 0.5%, bringing it to 9.2%—the highest of any city our size in Arizona. This will hurt families, the working poor, and small businesses, making everyday necessities even more expensive at a time when people are already struggling. Worse yet, there are no guarantees on how this money will be spent.
